Our API Heritage Month Workshop

Our members and volunteers have been hard at work organizing the Hearts for Heritage API Heritage Month Senior Care Package Workshop that was hosted May 2nd on the Julia R. Masterman patio. In the weeks leading up to the event, our social media managers worked diligently to post promotional content advertising the event on our Instagram page: @heartsforheritage.

From designing creative flyers or filming hilarious and engaging reels, our volunteer turnout of 40+ student volunteers could not have been accomplished without the help of our amazing social media and digital marketing team!

Additionally, we want to thank our members who posted flyers in the halls and spread word of this workshop to their friends and family! Without them leaving class early to help set up tables and chairs, set out the card-making and origami materials, and laying out the gift bags and logos, we wouldn't have been able to assemble 75+ care packages for the seniors at GP Senior Center in Northeast Philadelphia.

On that note, we want to thank the staff at GP Senior Center who were so kind to collaborate with us in our hosting of this event! It made us so happy to see the smiles on the faces of the seniors when we handed out the care packages our volunteers made.
