How to Start a H4H Chapter
1. Understanding the Mission
Before starting a chapter, ensure your leadership team fully understands and commits to the H4H mission:
“At Hearts for Heritage, we are a youth-led organization dedicated to fostering community engagement among Asian youth through service-driven workshops, donation events, and collaborative initiatives...”
Your chapter should align with our core values: service, community, culture, and youth empowerment.
2. Requirements to Start a Chapter ✅
To officially start a chapter, you must:

Be between 13–25 years old

Identify as part of or be passionate about supporting the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community

Recruit a minimum of 3 core members (including you) to form your leadership team

Commit to monthly engagement, including one event or initiative per quarter
3. Apply for Chapter Recognition📝
Submit the H4H Chapter Application Form (provided by National H4H) including:
a. Chapter name (e.g., "H4H Bucks County" or "H4H Central High")
b. Leadership team bios
c. Your first 3-month activity plan
d. Agreement to uphold the H4H mission and code of conduct
Once approved, you’ll receive an official H4H Chapter Starter Kit in your email inbox containing:

A full, in-depth chapter guide instructing how you can start operating as a chapter

A digital branding package (logos, templates, color codes)

Access to monthly leader calls and support resources

Zoom links to monthly chapter meetings + check-ins
